The Foxton Community
There has been a settlement in our area for over 1,000 years. This part of the website helps visitors to discover more about Foxton in Leicestershire.
The 'Foxton History' section is a growing reference point for all and contains many articles and images helping us to understand more about our village.
Foxton has some beautiful attractions both in the village and nearby, visitors can learn more about these in the 'Attractions' section.
You can view our directory of clubs, groups, societies and businesses. For a small village there are a wide range of groups catering for all interests.
Our 'whats on' calendar summarises the meeting days and times of village groups**
Foxton is well served by voluntary news teams who produce both the quarterly 'Foxton Folio' and also the bi-monthly church newsletters. We have set aside a section to store back copies of these for the benefit of all users.
The village hall, in addition to being the most used venue for groups, is also available to hire for private meetings and celebrations... and also hosts a very grand, full size snooker table which is also available to rent. Learn more in the 'halls for hire' section.
We encourage everyone to take photographs and submit them. Some of the best ones are in our 'Gallery'
** Covid-19: Please note that all events are on hold until further notice. This is why our 'Whats on' calendar is currently blank!
