British Geological Society Press Release

BGS (British Geological Society) Short Period Station at Northampton confirms earthquake epicentre near Gumley Wood Trig point this morning (06.35), with a magnitude of 4.1 making it the new second largest tremor in the region (largest: 5.3 recorded on 27 Feb 2008 at Leicester / Leicestershire & Rutland)

Village Hall closed until further notice

Village Hall closed until further notice

The Robert Monks Foxton Charity who own and manage the Village Hall in Foxton have made a difficult decision to close the hall as from today until June 2020.

We have made this decision based upon government guidelines, and keeping the public, our employees and the trustees safe and well.

There'll be more information at the end of May regarding June and July in due course.

A Facebook group established by Sam Smith has begun asking for help from all those who can - in order to care for anyone in the village who has had to self isolate or who is considered in the 'vulnerable' category and will be asked to self isolate in the coming days.
