AGM of reformed Foxton Society 2021

The AGM of the reformed Foxton Society will be held at the Robert Monk Hall on Monday 1st November at 7.45pm.

The Agenda and the draft new constitution are attached.

All Foxton residents are welcome to attend.

Expansion of Gartree Prison

As well as the building of a new prison, there is a proposal to expand Gartree Prison. The attached document will tell you more.

The Parish Council is particularly concerned about the effect of increased traffic through the village. There will be no new roads built to help reroute this traffic.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A road closure is required on North Lane, Foxton on the 6th September 2021 for 12 days.

Wildflower Verge Survey results

The Naturespot survey of our Blue Heart Wildflower verge has now been completed. The report is attached to this news item.

Picnic in the Park - new date Saturday September 4th
