Coordinating care for villagers during the Covid-19 Coronavirus outbreak

LOCKDOWN 2.0 JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS SAFE TO GO OUTSIDE !!!

The HELP AT HOME team are up and running again for Nov / Dec 2020.

If you need their contact details, download your copy of the Help at Home flyer from this page.

Everything below was about Lockdown 1.0 which we are keeping as a wonderful anecdote.

17 March 2020: All parishioners please note:

A Facebook group established by Sam Smith has begun asking for help from all those who can - in order to care for anyone in the village who has had to self isolate or who is considered in the 'vulnerable' category and will be asked to self isolate in the coming days. The response has, already, been incredibly positive.

Foxton Parish Council will be supporting this wherever it can - and some councillors, plus Sam, will be defining this in a hybrid meeting tonight.

UPDATE 18.03.2020

A TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS HAS RAPIDLY FORMED TO HELP COVER EACH STREET IN THE VILLAGE. LOOK OUT FOR A FLYER THROUGH YOUR DOORS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP HERE

UPDATE 19.03.2020

DOOR DROP FLYER AND POSTER NOW IN CIRCULATION - ATTACHED TO THIS NEWS ITEM FOR CONVENIENCE.
