SAFEGUARDING FOXTON PROPERTY AND ITS RESIDENTS
Foxton Parish Council noted on the village Facebook page that several disturbing incidents were being reported by villagers. There are five:
1) vandalisation / removal of signage at Softwell Lane Nature Reserve and nearby
2) fly tipping of waste in the Baptist Cemetery
3) anti-semitic behaviour of youngsters at the RM Hall / play area

Speeding! First data shows we might have a problem. Call for volunteers to help.
Our speed camera has produced its first data result from its placement at the entrance to the village from the A6. Some highlights:
The data range is 13th May - 13th July but not inclusive. This is because the camera's battery needs to be changed when it runs out of charge, and there have been 'down periods' of around 2 weeks in total.

Harborough District Council launches 'Community Hub'
News in from the Harborough District Council Parish & Community Facilities Officer, Nada Hankin...
Residents in Harborough District can now refer themselves, a family member that requires help, or someone in the community who needs help, during the Coronavirus crisis to the council's Community Hub.

Village Hall closed until further notice
The Robert Monks Foxton Charity who own and manage the Village Hall in Foxton have made a difficult decision to close the hall as from today until June 2020.
We have made this decision based upon government guidelines, and keeping the public, our employees and the trustees safe and well.
There'll be more information at the end of May regarding June and July in due course.
