Vicarage Drive will be closed to through-traffic soon, for Severn Trent Water to carry out new connections and maintenance.

TTRO (Temporary Traffic Regulation Order).  Theddingworth Road, Gumley.  17 June 2020

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A road closure is required on Theddingworth Road, Gumley between points of restriction on the 17th June 2020 for 1 day.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works.

Bus Services 'Kept' for time being

Foxton Parish Council meetings

The next Parish Council meeting will be on 11th May at 730pm. Due to the Covid 19 vurus this will be held using an application called Zoom which can be downloaded to smart phones or tablets or accessed via personal computers and laptops. British Geological Society Press Release

BGS (British Geological Society) Short Period Station at Northampton confirms earthquake epicentre near Gumley Wood Trig point this morning (06.35), with a magnitude of 4.1 making it the new second largest tremor in the region (largest: 5.3 recorded on 27 Feb 2008 at Leicester / Leicestershire & Rutland)
